Sylvia has been a permanent member of the theater ensemble for a quarter of a century. A dressing room chair with her nameplate underscores her established status – as well as her age. Doubts and feelings of shame about turning 60 get in her way as she records her first e-casting reel. The fact that her own young daughter is impatiently standing behind the camera doesn’t make things any easier.
As Sylvia struggles with the feeling of “becoming invisible”, a story unfolds about self-acceptance and the complexities of a mother-daughter relationship.
