For more than year, people have been protesting outside the Georgian parliament against the autocratic regime of the governing party. A community with no leadership, united by the desire for Georgia’s future in Europe – but divided about the plan of how to get there. While the government tries to keep the protesters in check through police violence and influence over the judiciary, they gather every evening to call out the names of political prisoners. One of the demonstrators is the 12-year-old Aguna, who roams around all by himself. The story of a child whose childhood has been taken away by adults – and for that reason feels compelled to become an adult himself. Something that Aguna won’t let anyone take from him.
