Toni is the best striker of the local football club, but he can only keep playing with the help of strong painkillers, which he regularly steals from the nursing home where he works. This afternoon, he has a particularly important match: an agent is coming to see him play and potentially make him an offer to transfer to a better club. During the match, Toni quickly shows what he is capable of, playing with skill and audacity. Still, the agent crushes his hopes. That evening, Toni tries to throw himself back into the everyday chaos of life with his girlfriend Nadia and her children, but he can no longer keep up his lies.
