The film immerses itself in a forest school and for a year observes the school children as they play and learn. Thirty children, ranging from kindergarten to second grade, spend each and every day here, regardless of the weather – be it sunshine, rain, or snow. They explore the woods on their own, experience the cycles of nature, and seek their roles in the community. Here, they find an environment that allows them to develop self-responsibility, courage, imagination, and creativity, while engaging spontaneously and empathetically with their peers and other beings in this world.
